December 15, 2009 - Time is running out to win this week's featured item at the RiverHawks' online store - a game-worn Tanner Watson jersey. The auction ends at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Watson wore the #20 jersey for Rockford in 2005-07, when he established himself as the team's all-time wins leader. Watson had one of the greatest seasons in modern independent-league history in 2007. Watson went 11-3 with a 2.17 ERA and held opposing batters to a .176 average over 15 appearances. Baseball America named Watson to its All-Independent Leagues All-Star Team.
Watson signed the size 48 jersey, manufactured by OT sports.
Hurry, the auction ends at 4:59 p.m. CST Thursday, Dec. 17.
