September 11, 2009 - Summary: Join our team as a Ticket Sales and Marketing Intern for the Rockford RiverHawks. As a successful Intern, your main responsibility is to learn the ropes and provide support in sales-related areas of the business. Responsibilities: The Ticket Sales Intern will assist in areas such as: * Ticket Sales * Database Management * Customer Service * Community Relations * Box Office Functions He/she will: * Gain valuable experience in the baseball industry, with full training provided and the opportunity to work closely with all members of the RiverHawks front office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: We require: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Strong organizational skills, self-motivation and the ability to take initiative * Enthusiastic attitude and outgoing, creative nature We prefer: * The ability to work at least 20 hours per week during the school year This is an unpaid internship and college credit is available for this position!
