Splash Day and Independence Fireworks Highlight 'Hawks Next Homestand

June 30, 2009 - Get ready for a fun-filled 4th of July holiday with the RiverHawks as they return home on Tuesday for a three game set with the Gateway Grizzlies.

The home stand kicks off with Two-for-Tuesday at 7:05pm. Buy two tickets for the price of one and enjoy two hot dogs for the price of one at the concession stands.

Come out to the ballpark for the 3rd annual Splash Day at Road Ranger Stadium on Wednesday. Be here when the ballpark turns into a water park for one day only. Enjoy water balloons, slip n slides, and miniature pools throughout the game. It is a special 12:05pm start time for the game against Gateway.Gates will open at 11:00am.

The home stand concludes with a very special Independence Day fireworks spectacular on Thursday. Enjoy Miller Lite $1 drafts and two dollar bottles while wearing your Hemmens Cultural Center independence day t-shirt for the first 1,000 fans. The team will also be wearing special Independence Day jerseys that are available for purchase through a special silent auction during the game. Following the game, stick around for an independence day fireworks display you will remember all summer long. First pitch is at 7:05pm.


The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 17th season.
