April 30, 2009 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – All tickets for the Rockford RiverHawks' 2009 season are now on sale.

Single-game sales for Rockford RiverHawks tickets were released for individual purchase at 7 a.m. Thursday. The first 50 fans that purchase tickets for the May 26 home opener will be entered into a drawing to win airline tickets courtesy of the Chicago Rockford International Airport.

In addition, WIFR (Channel 23) is broadcasting a live remote until 9 a.m. from the stadium with on-air personality Aaron Wilson.

Tickets for the entire 48-game regular-season schedule, the July 14 Cubs-White Sox Legends Game and the July 15 Frontier League All-Star Game are available at the box office, by phone or on the team website. Ticket prices are $5 for grandstand, $8 for outfield box, $10 for infield box, $12 for home plate box and $15 for premium box. All seating is reserved.

Fans can still guarantee the same great seat for Opening Night, the Legends Game, the All-Star Game and other in-demand nights is by purchasing a season ticket, mini-season plan or bonus book. Ticket plans begin at just $40.

Last year, the RiverHawks sold out a record 11 games and averaged 85 percent of capacity. They drew a record 138,234 for the season.



The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 17th season this summer. The RiverHawks will begin their eighth season at 7:05 p.m. May 21 at Windy City and play their home opener at 7:05 p.m. May 26 against the Midwest Sliders of Ypsilanti. The RiverHawks host the 2009 Frontier League All-Star Game at 7:05 p.m. on July 15. Advertising and season-ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
