February 24, 2009 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – While the weather outside may not lead one to think spring, baseball season is on its way. Major-league teams have already started spring training and the Rockford RiverHawks will do the same in barely two months.

RiverHawks baseball remains an affordable way to entertain the family, especially the kids. The RiverHawks are again offering membership in Rocko’s Kids Club for just $20. Members of the club receive a membership card, an exclusive T-shirt, and tickets to 10 games, plus other special benefits.

Dates on the kids club feature Friday night fireworks, giveaways on Saturdays and kids can run the bases following Sunday games. For more information on gametimes and promotions, visit the tickets page.

RiverHawks baseball is a great value for the entire family. Ten-game plans for adults start at just $75. A family of four can guarantee the same great seats for 10 weekend games for just $190.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 17th season this summer. The RiverHawks will begin their eighth season at 7:05 p.m. May 21 at Windy City and play their home opener at 7:05 p.m. May 26 against the Midwest Sliders of Ypsilanti. The RiverHawks host the 2009 Frontier League All-Star Game at 7:05 p.m. on July 15. Advertising and season-ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
