November 5, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced Wednesday that they are offering special discounted rates for fans that purchase 2009 ticket plans before Thanksgiving.
Fans that purchase a full-season or mini-season plan and pay for it in full by Nov. 26 will receive a 10-percent discount. In addition, fans that buy a season ticket for the full 48-game regular-season schedule will receive a free ticket to the 2009 Frontier League All-Star Game, scheduled for July 15.
The only way to guarantee seating for the highest-profile sporting event to hit the Stateline in years is by purchasing a 2009 ticket plan. Mini-season plans include five, 10 or 20 games and an upgrade to all-star tickets is available.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 17th season in 2009. The RiverHawks will begin their eighth season in May and host the 2009 Frontier League All-Star Game at 7:05 p.m. on July 15.
