Former RiverHawks staffer engaged

September 12, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – A former member of the Rockford RiverHawks organization is headed for a walk down the aisle.

Dan Macdonald, the team’s former sales director, announced his engagement to Jamie Reed of Monroe Center.

Jamie is from a family of five, received a degree from Tricoci University (Rockford, IL), and is a practicing hair stylist. Dan, a native of Lombard and a resident of Rockford, is from a mixed family of 11, received an Associates Degree from College of DuPage (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), a Bachelors Degree from Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, Ill.), and is currently working for U.S. Cellular. They are planning a spring wedding.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 17th season in 2009. The RiverHawks will host the Frontier League All-Star Game at 7:05 p.m. July 15, 2009. Advertising and season-ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
