August 23, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks are making another run for the Frontier League postseason, and fans can guarantee a seat for all the action by acting now.
The RiverHawks announced Saturday that they have released playoff seats for sale. The RiverHawks can potentially play as many as four postseason games at Road Ranger Stadium.
The RiverHawks are offering a playoff package that starts at just $24 for the entire postseason run. Fans that purchase home plate, infield or outfield box tickets to three playoff games will get the fourth for free.
If the RiverHawks do not play all four potential games, tickets will be credited toward 2009 ticket plans.
Fans that already have 2008 season tickets can get a special bonus by renewing now. Renewing full-season ticket holders will get 2008 playoff tickets as a free bonus if they renew for 2009 with a 25-percent down payment by Aug. 28. Renewing fans that choose to pay in full by Aug. 28 will receive an additional 10 percent off their already-discounted season tickets.
The RiverHawks could host playoff games on Sept. 8-9 and Sept. 16-17.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season.
