| August 9, 2008 - The Rockford RiverHawks 2008 Booster Club will be hosting a raffle on during this Saturday’s game vs. Midwest. Game worn gear of active players and those that provided us with uplifting moments during the 2008 season will be available to win. Some of the prizes and items available will include Jason James' (autographed) game worn baseball spikes, game worn (autographed) RiverHawks baseball caps, game worn spring training t-shirts, 2008 autographed autograph book, team autographed baseball gloves and more will be part of the lot to be won. In addition, the first 1,000 fans will be treated to the final bobblehead night of the season as the 2008 Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame collection is completed with a Ron Santo bobblehead. As an extra added benefit, if you missed any of these extremely popular bobblehead nights, one of the raffle prizes offered will be the entire 2008 bobblehead set including Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Fergie Jenkins, Ryne Sandberg, and Ron Santo. All proceeds from the raffle go to support your 2008 RiverHawks players for the additional amenities and needed personal items and to help defer out of pocket expenses while on the road. Tickets will be available near the front gate and will be $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
