August 8, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced Friday that they had activated first baseman/outfielder Brandon Cohen from the retired list.

Cohen missed more than a month at the start of the season because of a broken hamate bone. Cohen played in 15 games, then retired. In Friday’s doubleheader, Cohen was 3-for-6 with three RBI.

To make room on the roster, pitchers Kyle Pawelczyk and Drew Himes were released.
