| August 5, 2008 - The Rockford RiverHawks invite faithful fans off all religious denominations to All Faiths Night, Sunday Aug. 24, when they play Chillicothe. Tickets will be discounted to $6 for outfield box seats, $7 for infield box and $8 for home plate box for groups. No minimum purchase is required for the groups, but the discounted rates apply only to tickets purchased in advance. Church and ministry groups are invited to bring their congregations for the game and a free postgame concert by Christian recording artist Brooke Barrettsmith. Barrettsmith, a McHenry native and former “American Idol” contestant, will hold the release party for her self-titled debut album at Road Ranger Stadium during the game. Barrettsmith’s CD and other merchandise will be available for sale at the game. Her songs, full biography and other information is available at her official website.
