RiverHawks sign All-American

July 1, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced Tuesday that they have signed first baseman Bryan Cook and placed outfielder Aaron Davis on the 14-day disabled list.

Cook, a true rookie out of Nova Southeastern, was a Daktronics NCAA Division II All-American. He hit .418 with 17 home runs and 48 RBI for the Sharks. He was the American Baseball Coaches Association South Region Player of the Year.

Davis went on the DL because of a strained hip flexor
