| June 2, 2008 - Before Tueday night's RiverHawks game against Traverse City, local high school athletes and scholars will be honored for their accomplishments. Those students that were state qualifiers, honorable mentions, all-state qualifiers and who had a GPA in the top 25 in their class will take the field at Road Ranger Stadium. It's going to be a night to cheer on your local athletes and students, and then hang around to cheer on the RiverHawks. Tickets are available at (815) 885-2255. Game time is 7:05pm, gates open at 5:30. For all kids aged 14 and under, Tuesday night is also time for the RiverHawks first youth clinic. Arrive at Road Ranger Stadium at 5pm to learn all the baseball skill you need from the RiverHawks players and coaches. The clinic is free, and every kid that attends will receive a ticket to the RiverHawks game. |
