May 23, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Do you think you have what it takes to be a Rockford RiverHawk?
You’ll get your chance to put your bat – or arm, or glove – where your mouth is at the RiverHawks’ open tryout June 9 at Road Ranger Stadium. The registration fee is $50 and includes a tryout camp T-shirt, as well as professional evaluation. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and tryouts begin at noon.
Players will be evaluated by members of the RiverHawks staff. Evaluations will be uploaded onto FiveToolProspects.com.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and season-ticket information is available by calling the box office at (815) 885-2255. Most games are broadcast live on WNTA (1330 AM) and the internet. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
