November 29, 2007 - Former Rockford RiverHawk Mike Marksbury and fiance Shylah Roberts announced their engagement recently.
The couple has been together for two years and has planned the wedding for Jan. 24, 2009. The best man is Marksbury's brother, Matt, who pitched for Florence this season.
Mike Marksbury was signed by Milwaukee at the all-star break and finished the season with the Brewers' high Class A affiliate at Brevard County. He is the RiverHawks' all-time saves leader. |
