September 20, 2007 - Former RiverHawk Bo Flowers is featured in today's Chicago Tribune.
The ex-outfielder, now a defensive back at the University of Illinois, is profiled. Flowers was an all-stater in both football and basketball in his senior year of high school.
The Detroit Tigers took Flowers in the fifth round of the 2002 draft and dealt him to the Chicago Cubs in February 2005 in a trade for Kyle Farnsworth. Flowers split last season between Windy City and Rockford.
