James named to FL’s postseason all-star list

August 31, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Rockford RiverHawks outfielder Jason James has been named to the Frontier League postseason all-star team.

James was the only member of the organization to receive an end-of-year award in voting by league managers, coaches, general managers, broadcasters and local media. Results were announced on Friday.

James entering Friday’s game with a .345 average, third in the league, six home runs and 56 RBI.

The outfielder from Vernon Hills is in his first full professional season.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season.
