RiverHawks postponed

August 19, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Sunday’s game between the Rockford RiverHawks and the visiting Southern Illinois Miners has been postponed because of field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday at Southern Illinois. The Miners have not announced a starting time.

All tickets for Sunday's game will be honored at any of the remaining four regular-season home dates, subject to ticket availability. To exchange tickets, contact the box office.

The RiverHawks visit Evansville and Southern Illinois for the next six days. The RiverHawks will be at home at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 for the opener of a two-game homestand against the Traverse City Beach Bums. On Feldco Family Night, kids get to run the bases following the game. The Family Four Pack – four tickets, dogs and soft drinks – is available for $40.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season.
