RiverHawks activate Towery, place Mack on DL

August 12, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – On Sunday, the RiverHawks activated pitcher Dane Towery from the disabled list and put pitcher Bobby Mack on the 14-day DL.

Towery partially separated his right shoulder on July 13. Towery came out of retirement in June and is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA in six relief appearances for Rockford.

Mack is 1-2 with a save and a 5.58 ERA in 17 relief appearances. He has a strained shoulder.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season.
