Fans may exchange rainout tickets

July 18, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Wednesday’s game between the Gateway Grizzlies and Rockford RiverHawks has been suspended because of rain. The RiverHawks thank fans for their support and invite them to attend a future game.

The rainout policy is as follows: fans may exchange tickets from a rained-out game for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2007 regular-season game, subject to availability. Fans are asked to contact the box office before 5 p.m. on the day of the game they wish to attend.

“We encourage people to find the game on the schedule they want to attend, and to get them in advance,” general manager Josh Olerud said.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling the box office at (815) 885-2255. Some games are broadcast live on WNTA (1330 AM) and the internet. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
