Road Ranger Stadium to host holiday fireworks

July 3, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Road Ranger Stadium will be Rockford’s most explosive home this holiday.

The RiverHawks conclude its brief two-game home stand against division-foe Windy City with a bevy of first-place promotions. Following Wednesday nights game against the ThunderBolts, fans are welcome to stick around and enjoy Independence Day Fireworks, courtesy of Rock Valley College, ABM, and Q98.5. The lengthy presentation will be timed to holiday music.

Tuesday also marks another installment of Ladies Night at the ballpark. There will be free wine-tasting prior to the game, courtesy of Bearfoot Wine. Ladies Night is also made possible by Ronnie Gators, Clodius and Company, and Curves.

The gates open at Road Ranger Stadium one-and-a-half hours prior to first pitch. Tuesday nights game begins at 7:05 p.m.

The RiverHawks are the Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007.
