June 21, 2007 - Jake the Diamond Dog is making a surprise appearance at Road Ranger Stadium tonight.
"Baseball's best friend" is a touring canine entertainer. In addition to greeting fans at tonight's 7:05 p.m. game, he will help out the batboys by retrieving bats and balls and bringing fresh balls out to the umpires.
In addition, tonight is a Miller Lite/104.9 - the X Dollar Beer Night, Jimmy Buffet Night and Military Appreciation Night. Buffet music will be featured between innings. The RiverHawks will take the field in camouflage hats and jerseys. |
