June 19, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Jon Poterson’s leadoff home run in the top of the ninth inning capped a late comeback by the Chillicothe Paints on Tuesday. The Paints rallied for six runs in the last three innings and beat the Rockford RiverHawks, 7-6.

Will Henderson was a triple short of the first cycle in RiverHawks history. His third home run of the season, a three-run fly to right-center, gave the RiverHawks a 5-1 lead in the fifth inning.

Rockford starter Garrett Bauer struck out a season-high six and left after five innings. Chillicothe rallied for three unearned runs in the seventh inning and two runs in the eighth inning to tie the game at 6-6.

In the eighth, John Torres tripled in a run and later scored the tying run on a delayed double steal. Poterson homered off reliever Matthew Mehne (0-1), who entered the game when closer Mike Marksbury left because of injury.

Eric Teall (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the win.
