May 14, 2007 - GARY, Ind. - In their third spring training game of the season, the Rockford RiverHawks battled to an 11-11 tie in Gary on Monday afternoon.
Rockford clubbed 18 hits, including three each from Matt Sauls and Joe Anthonsen. Sauls also added three RBIs. The game featured 30 total hits and nine errors, as the RailCats crushed three home runs while battling back from a 9-3 deficit en route to the tie.
Rockford moved to 0-0-3 on the season with an exhibition night game scheduled against the Schaumburg Flyers set for 5 p.m. on Monday.
