March 30, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Sportscore II won’t be the only place to shop for campers, motorhomes and other recreational vehicles this weekend.
Al’s Motor Homes, in addition to its presence at the Rockford RV, Camping and Travel Show, will be right down the road at RiverHawks Stadium, featuring its 2006 closeouts and pre-owned vehicles.
“We’re going to feed off of (the Sportscore show),” said Jens Thogerson of Al’s Motor Homes. That event features new vehicles. “Not everyone wants a new RV. If not, they can buy a used one.”
Dozens of vehicles, ranging from a $9,000 travel trailer to a $150,000 diesel motor home, are already at the RiverHawks Stadium parking lot. Sales representatives will be on site from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The RiverHawks are the Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007. The RiverHawks begin their sixth season on May 23 at Windy City. The home opener is at 7:05 p.m. May 25, when the RiverHawks host Windy City.
