November 6, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced today that longtime front-office employee Dawn Plock has left the team to accept a position with Cumulus Radio.

Plock, a resident of Leaf River, has been with the RiverHawks since 2002, their first season in Rockford. She had filled a variety of roles in her five seasons with the team and had most recently been the team’s director of community relations and the host-family coordinator.

In her new role with Cumulus’ Q98.5 and 97ZOK stations in Rockford, Plock will be involved with promotions, she said. Her duties will include handling live remotes, ticket giveaways, concerts and other promotions.

“Dawn will be missed, but at the same time we are very excited to see Dawn take a position in an area she is very strong in and we wish her the best of success,” RiverHawks general manager Josh Olerud said.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, an 11-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007. Advertising, ticket and suite information is available by calling the box office at (815) 885-2255. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 – the Hub and online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
