August 24, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks are closing in on a Frontier League West Division title, and have put playoff tickets on sale in anticipation of that success.
With the west division gaining home-field advantage for the championship series through a victory in the all-star game, the RiverHawks could host up to six playoff games.
Fans can get a special deal if they purchase all tickets to all six potential games. Buying six tickets earns fans $1 off each ticket, or $6 off each package. Plans range from $24 for grandstand seats to $84 for premium box seats.
Tickets can be purchased over the phone at (815) 885-2255, on the web at www.rockfordriverhawks.com or in person at the RiverHawks box office at 4503 Interstate Boulevard in Loves Park.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league in its 14th season.
