August 24, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Fans looking forward to receiving their RiverHawks/University of Wisconsin-Platteville/96.7 – the Eagle backpacks will be able to do so on Aug. 25.
Fans who received vouchers for the backpacks on July 29 must bring the top portion of the voucher to the redemption table outside the ballpark gates. Fans will receive their backpack at the table. The redemption table will be open from noon-7 p.m. on Aug. 25. All fans who received vouchers will receive backpacks.
The remaining backpacks will be given out to the first 500 fans attending that night’s game. All are encouraged to attend the 7:05 p.m. game, a FatWallet.com Fireworks Friday.
Fans must purchase a ticket for the Aug. 25 game in order to enter the stadium.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league in its 14th season in 2006.
