RiverHawks sign Rockford native

July 28, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced the signing of Rockford native Pat Isoz today.

Isoz was with the team during spring training. He is the son of former RiverHawks coach Brian Isoz. The infielder is a true rookie. He last played with Kishwaukee College in 2002. Isoz also played at Guilford High School.

Isoz was added after closer Mike Marksbury was placed on the 14-day disabled list yesterday.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league in its 14th season in 2006.
