May 23, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Every Friday home game this summer will be explosive at RiverHawks Stadium.
Today, the Rockford RiverHawks announced that FatWallet.com will sponsor the Friday Night Fireworks series. Fans will be treated to a pyrotechnics display following each of the eight dates.
“Friday nights will be at full capacity with the great promotional package we are offering,” RiverHawks general manager Josh Olerud said. “It’s a pleasure to have FatWallet.com on board. They are a great sponsor and a great place to shop.”
The online retailer is based in the Rock River Valley.
Seven of the eight Fridays are available on the Weekender 10-game miniplan. Ticket prices for the 10-game plan range from $75-110.
The regular season starts at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday at Windy City. Opening Day at RiverHawks Stadium is 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, when the Evansville Otters visit. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 14th season in 2006.
