RiverHawks to begin single-game sales Friday
« Back

May 10, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Fans waiting to buy Opening Day tickets or seats for any other date will get their chance on Friday.

Today, the RiverHawks announced they will begin selling individual seats for each date on the 48-game home schedule. Sales will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at the RiverHawks' box office or online at the team website, www.rockfordriverhawks.com.

Availability for individual dates is contingent on what seats remain.

“For example, if you want to guarantee Opening Day seats, your best way to do so is to buy a 10-game miniplan before Friday,” general manager Josh Olerud said. “All that will be left on Friday is whatever hasn’t been purchased by people who bought a season-ticket plan.”

The Big 10 miniplan includes Opening Day tickets and starts at just $75. Individual tickets are priced at $15 for premium box, $12 for home-plate box, $10 for infield box, $8 for infield box and $5 for grandstand.

The season starts at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Windy City. Opening Day at RiverHawks Stadium is 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 31. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 14th season in 2006. Advertising, season-ticket and suite information is available by calling the box office at (815) 964-2255. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 – the Hub and online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
